Have you ever noticed that when you’re out for a casual walk or drive, or riding your bike – and you don’t have a particular destination in mind — you tend to meander a bit? Maybe you make a wrong turn or two?
But with a goal in mind, you usually pursue the most direct route – you get it done.
This is similar to operating your business: without a goal–a destination–it’s easy to dawdle.
Whether it’s hiring a new employee, undertaking a social media marketing program, deciding to move into larger (or smaller) quarters or biting-the-bullet for a new software system — the first step is figuring out the goal – and then your business can move forward.
What’s your business destination?
